Mr. Puneet Godha is the Founder of PG Emeralds, and also the chairman of the company. He laid the foundation of his business in 2009 and has thenceforth managed it solitarily. He holds a graduate degree in Gemology from Gemological Institute of America. Needless to say, PG Emeralds has been flying high, owing to his quality of deep perception, focus, and the cardinal jewel in the path of success – hard work. At present, he utterly manages everything under the roof of his company, varying from trading and marketing to clientele dealing.
At the fragile age of 17, he developed an intense passion for emeralds, and committed himself to becoming a successful businessman. His father, Late Shri. Arun Godha, commenced his business in 1975. As young Puneet was growing up, he would fascinate himself with his father work, select the perfect stones, place the perfect orders, and see him battle his way up to the top with his hard work and dedication. Eventually, he established his name in the world of emeralds. His father passed away in 2004, and the traces of his inclination toward emeralds passed on to his son. Puneet walked on the same path that his father had chosen, worked himself to the ground, and the hard work manifested miracles for him.
After the untimely passing away of his father, Puneet was crucial about shaping up the dream of his father. And thus his journey of success burst forth. He began by training in Jaipur under the leading emeralds firm in Jaipur. He starved for knowledge and absorbed most of it from all the influential people around him. He also invested a couple of his years in Mumbai to acquire his degree from the Gemological Institute of America while simultaneously apprenticing diamond manufacturing in a diamond factory. He later joined the most reputed office of diamond trade in Mumbai to learn trading and diamond assortment. Thereafter, he tediously worked to build his own empire of emeralds and has been evolving since then, however, he believes that his mentor plays an indelible role in his unfolding dominion.
Today, his clientele is in the expanding mode, and he is beginning to gain recognition worldwide. Mr. Godha believes in giving out to the less fortunate and thus, is highly active in serving them through NGOs and social workers. He is also a member of the Jaipur Jewellers Association, International Colored Stones Association (ICA) and Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council of India.
His success mantra is - Loving your work is very important, for when you love, you are nurturing a little part of you, and its growth means the world to you, and that’s when you climb the ladder of success.
